TESTIMONIALS

I spent years of my life sick and trying to find a doctor who could help me. None of them listened and it only resulted in them treating symptoms and loading me full of prescription drugs. When I found Dr. Schule it was literally life changing. I feel better every day, I’m losing weight, I have more energy, and I’m living life again. Dr. Schule looks at the big picture, and takes the time to listen. I cannot praise her enough.

BIOGRAPHY

To simply say that Sofi has “extensive training” would be a deep understatement. Sofi has had several years of training and residency in the Mental Health from Behavioral Specialist to Intensive In-Home Counselor. She then practiced as a Mental Health Counselor for over a decade. In addition, she has had training in Osteopathic techniques, Massage therapy, Cupping, IntraOral release techniques, Cranial-Sacral therapy, and Energy and Shamanic healing. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and has Crisis Prevention and Intervention training. Sofi also pursues healing through her hobbies with Botanical medicine, Wildcrafting, and is a Ceramics artist.

Somehow, Sofi integrates all of her knowledge, skills, trainings, and unique perception of the world to help her patients heal physically, psychologically, and even spiritually because she understands the intersections of these aspects within the human person. Tackling one area means that we make space for other areas to heal as well.

FINDING HER WAY HERE

Sofi worked for over a decade in the mental health realms, but she wanted more for her patients. She understood the intersection of physiology, energetics, and the psyche and wanted more training leading her to pursue Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University.

When she discovered massage therapy, she realized that the bodywork coupled with her understanding of mental health was her true calling for practice. After joining Rebel Med NW as a massage therapist, she realized that she had a whole resource system of providers to do those Naturopathic Medicine management that she wanted for her patients. She no longer had to do everything. With a heavy heart, she decided to leave Naturopathic Medicine and pursue a mental health licensure in Washington state so that she can truly practice the Somatic Mind-body therapy that she has been practicing all along.

Right now, Sofi is in pursuit of her mental health counseling licensure, but she continues to approach her patients with the Mind-body perspective that is innate in her skills and talents, within her current scope of practice.

HOME & HOBBIES

Sofi loves to spend time processing her own life through making ceramics. She is devoted to her puppy and her partner, and her personal and professional self development.
