Dr. Brook Schales is an empathetic and dedicated Integrative Primary Care Physician with a focus in women’s health, pediatrics, fertility support, medical aesthetics, and endocrinology. Dr. Brook Schales is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist at Rebel Med NW, bringing a truly integrative approach to care for women, men, teenagers, and older adults. Expertise and Training
Dr. Brook Schales graduated with honors from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, where she earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, a Master of Acupuncture, and a Naturopathic Obstetrics Certificate.
Clinical Experience and Integrative Approach
Dr. Brook Schales completed a prestigious clinical mentorship in gynecology, adrenal and hormone regulation, and comprehensive thyroid care, as well as a classical Chinese medicine mentorship that focused on women’s health and pediatrics.
Additionally, she was selected for a rigorous one–year obstetrics internship in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, naturopathic obstetrics, postpartum care, and pediatrics. Before attending NCNM, she graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in biopsychology.
She received her massage therapy degree from Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, Washington where she concentrated on Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Prenatal, and Injury Treatment massage, as well as Reiki and Aromatherapy.

Dr. Brook Schales is committed to providing an integrative approach to primary care medicine and believes in collaborating with other health care providers to achieve the best patient care. She combines information from current scientific research and medical journals with naturopathic philosophies to help create a positive impact on health, both for the individual and for the community. Her ultimate goal is to work to uncover the underlying cause of illness, rather than simply eliminate the symptoms. She uses a wealth of modalities in her treatments that include nutritional and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, physical medicine, and conventional pharmaceuticals.
